Just been in this shop to see if they had any nice bits for my garden. I didn’t buy anything, so decided to leave. Upon exiting the shop, no less than four members of staff ran after me to accuse me of shoplifting. Not one of them could tell me what I had supposedly shoplifted, they refused to review the CCTV, and the gentleman who decided to tell all of his female colleagues to chase after me refused to apologise for the spurious accusation. The female staff apologised on his behalf, but this is not good enough. They were only acting on his accusation, which he seemed to have picked up from nowhere. I have contacted head office who assure me this will be dealt with, but unless this results in a written apology from this gentleman, I will be seeking advice from a lawyer. I have been left feeling incredibly upset and anxious that someone, who does not know me or have any good reason to accuse me, could feel it appropriate to make such accusations with no evidence, and when confronted about the accusations to refuse to make an apology and leave his young female colleagues to carry the can for him. This young man is a disgrace and his parents should be ashamed!

Modest prices on branded products, is what sells this place. That's fine when there is stock on the shelves, however over many weeks now, stock levels across all departments, are very variable to say the least. Few checkouts available, often at busy times, with operators who put the same article through several times.....check your receipts folks.
